I absolutely love this place. Recently moved to Midlothian and would rate this among the best places I have visited to walk so far. I recommend the path which follows the river westward as you can go all the way to Arniston house or even Temple if you have the time or make a loop about half way. Very accessible at first (from the bottom car park) but becomes a single footpath after the second bridge so not suitable for buggies etc.

Some nice trails for walking or cycling. Can be muddy in places but routes are easily navigated through the wood and alongside the South Esk and Gore Rivers.

Nice place to visit , lots of woodland to explore, the air quality up there is amazing

Great place for 1-2 hours walks. Nice woodland scenery. River in middle of park.

Its the most beautiful calm place I have ever been once you step into it you feel like you are in another world.
